Harry and me, the Family Years: 1950-1960 by Niki de Saint Phalle

The story behind
In the second volume of her autobiography, Saint Phalle recounts the years she spent with Harry Mathews, who would become a writer  with whom she had two children.
As in the first autobiography Traces, Saint Phalle's drawings, collages, and handwritten passages give a very personal touchand perspective to her memoirs. Harry Mathews responds, sometimes disagrees with the artist emphasizing how memory is different as one perspective.
